No. Grayperson is not an official government registry. The relevant official publisher or registry remains authoritative for the underlying public record.

Basic public-record search and discovery is currently available without an account or subscription. Some sources or record types may have their own terms.

Coverage changes as sources are added or updated. Countries may expose different record types. See Countries for the countries currently available.

Data comes from official public registries, public authorities, and other publicly available authority sources. The Data sources & licensing page identifies the sources and record types currently available.

Update cadence is source- and record-type-specific. Grayperson may update a record type according to the publication or access schedule of its source; this does not mean every record changes in real time.

A difference can be temporary because of publication or update timing, differences in formatting, or source availability. The official publisher or registry is authoritative when the underlying record matters.

Grayperson adapts selected source fields for search and display, and may standardize labels or formatting for consistency. It does not replace the official source's record or create an official determination.

Sources are handled separately by country and record type. A record's source context is retained, rather than treating different sources as one universal dataset.

Grayperson displays information from official public registries and links records to a company only when an exact official identifier match is available. If a registry has no record for that company, or the record cannot be exactly matched, the profile shows that no information is available for that section. This does not by itself indicate a positive or negative company status.

Yes, where the relevant source supports a registration or business identifier. The search label and country page describe the identifier accepted by that source.

Record fields depend on what the source publishes and the entity's source record. Different countries, record types, and companies can therefore expose different information.

A status is a value or presentation based on the relevant source record. Definitions can vary by record type; the Glossary explains terms used in Grayperson and the source remains authoritative for interpretation.

No. Grayperson provides public-record search and discovery, not legal, financial, compliance, or other professional advice. Verify important information with the relevant official source and a qualified adviser where appropriate.

Some public-record types may contain personal or privacy-sensitive information published by a source. Grayperson does not publish every technically available field and applies a public-record purpose and data-minimisation approach.
