Grayperson is an independent company information/search service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Companies Registration Office (CRO).

What we use

Our source is the Companies Registration Office (CRO), Ireland, Company Records dataset. Grayperson processes and displays company-level registry fields used by the service, including company identity, status, type, relevant dates, registered address, Eircode, NACE and related registry fields.

The current MVP does not use director or officer names, dates of birth, personal email addresses, phone numbers, shareholder data or beneficial-owner data. A registered address/Eircode may in some cases correspond to a natural person's residential address.

Purpose and lawful basis

We use this information to provide searchable access to official company-register information and to keep that information reasonably current. Where these company records include personal data, Grayperson relies on legitimate interests, subject to the rights and interests of affected individuals.

The data is obtained from publicly available CRO records, not directly from the individual. It is periodically refreshed from CRO.

Your requests

For correction or rectification requests, or to object to or request restriction of processing, contact privacy@grayperson.com. Grayperson may verify a requested correction against the official CRO source.

Retention

Current CRO operational data is retained while needed to provide and refresh the service. Superseded full source snapshots are pruned according to the existing project retention policy. Legal and reuse snapshots may be retained separately as compliance evidence.
